1. Data Preparation
This tool works with the Temporal Spatial Spreadsheet.
- Ensure your Excel sheet has columns for Leg, Events (IC/TO), and Total Time.
- Highlight range A3 to H31 (include leg columns and time).
- Copy the selection (Ctrl+C).
2. Using Tabs
- Click "Data Set 1" or "Data Set 2".
- Enter a label (e.g. "Pre-Op").
- Paste data and click "Analyze".
3. Outputs
- Spatial Means: Average Step/Stride.
- Spatial Pattern: Cycle-by-cycle variability (dots have 95% CI bars).
- Stance & Swing Consistency: Plots the duration of the major gait phases for every step sequentially (interleaved Left/Right).
- Stance Phase (Orange): Time from Heel Strike to Toe Off (Same Leg). ~60% of cycle.
- Swing Phase (Blue): Time from Toe Off to Heel Strike (Same Leg). ~40% of cycle.
